CRINK HIGHLIGHTS

CAPE TOWN BOOK FAIR

Cape Town Book Fair is a feast of reading, meeting authors and talking books. This year more than 43 000 book lovers enjoyed the event and 269 exhibitors ensured that they will be back next year.

Crink held their annual “Get Published for Free” competition at the fair and received a total of 60 entries. After much deliberation 8 finalists were chosen and each of them had to submit a chapter of their book.

The winner, Ina Breedenkamp will soon get published. Keep a look out for the title Rustige Kampetes at next year’s fair.

CRINK POWERED BY ON THE DOT

Since 1 July 2009 Crink is powered by On the Dot which makes our once bumpy ride to bookshops a smooth experience.

Self-publishing is a new and emerging trend in book publishing and Crink is revolutionizing the way things are done. www.crink.co.za is not just a website . . .  it is a digital platform where authors can create, publish and sell their unique work online.

What makes Crink so special?

Our free downloadable cover and layout templates enable authors to upload their literary works in a print-ready format without any risk or fuss. What makes Crink so special is the fact that once your manuscript is uploaded, you can sell your book in Crink’s online bookstore.

The truly amazing part is that you do not have to keep stock. Your print-ready files are loaded onto our system and as soon as someone buys your book from the online shop; the actual print order is sent to the printer; the exact number of copies that were ordered are printed and delivered in 10 working days.

If the internet is truly not your thing, or you want your book to be on a professional standard, you can hire an in-house project manager who will take your manuscript through all the necessary steps in the publishing process.
